Expect an extensive music library including dance floor hits throughout the decades. You can have full control of the music or I can help guide you!

The person you are in contact with will also be the DJ/MC at your event. I will work with you during the planning process to make your event unique.

Meglados is a Mobile and Club DJ hailing from Seattle, Washington.

Biography

Jason started DJing in the beginning of 2012 during his freshman year at Western Washington University. Wanting to create a brand he could identify with, he chose to have his DJ name stem from his initials J.A.W. Early on as DJ JAWS, he was heavily influenced by hip-hop and rap, as well as the dance culture surrounding these genres.

With the electronic music scene exploding in the last few years, he began to stray away from hip-hop towards newer types of music. A love for specific EDM genres such as trap, house, midtempo, and future bass developed. There were many performances that involved experimenting to find the perfect dance floor music. The culmination of which resulted in his unique live mixing style.

Later on, Jason decided to change his artist alias from DJ JAWS to Meglados, so as not to be confused with other DJs with similar names. He loves all types of music and sharing his passion with others. There is a clear satisfaction gained from making a client's event special and giving the gift of a great dance party they will never forget.

After graduating from University, Jason created Meglados Music (pronounced Meg-La-Dos) to expand his growing DJ business. When he is not pursuing his music career his hobbies include longboarding, climbing, motorcycles, hiking, and videography. He is an all around fun loving person who continues to be inspired by the people around him.

This is a long awaited review since it's been about 6 months since we've gotten married. Up until this day, my husband and I still have our family and friends letting us know how much fun they had at our wedding. Although some of it was due to us not being super "cookie cutter" about our wedding and letting our own personalities take the lead, a lot of it had to do with our DJ and the vibe throughout the whole night. We had many dancers at our wedding (from ballroom dancers to hip-hop dancers) and DJ Pablo and DJ Meglados totally catered to us and our guests. We wanted to have fun and get the people moving and our goal was accomplished. The price for services was super reasonable. I had looked at a previous company (that charged an arm and a leg, semi stalked my husband on facebook by saying in one of our inquiry emails "Hey, it looks like we have mutual friends on facebook! He knows the type of work that I do," was hired for my best friend's wedding and the dj looked like he did not want to be there)... DJ Pablo and his team really made sure that they set the vibe right and made our event so much fun. They also threw in some little video snippets for free. HIRE THEM ASAP!!

 We had our absolute dream wedding and it wouldn't have been possible without Paul and Jason in charge of music. Our wedding photographer said she's never seen people dance like they were at our wedding - it was such a blast! They also played music for our ceremony and took the initiative to figure out where exactly was the best spot/timing/etc and showed up early so that everything was ready to go. Paul was super easy going and a breeze to work with ahead of time. Day of, everything was spot on - my husband and I were able to have fun and not worry about a thing! Most importantly, Paul and Jason are super cool guys so they were able to make things how we wanted even without us giving explicit instructions, including what type of announcements to make. As board member of Mt Si’s class of 1963 High School committee we found Jason to be the perfect fit for DJing our 50th reunion. In preparation for the event we gave him a list of our favorite 60’s songs to incorporate into his playlist. He arrived with all of his own equipment including an excellent sound system and dance floor lighting. Not only were our guests satisfied with the music that was played, they were also surprised at the amount of musical knowledge Jason possessed. There was a good variety of all of our favorite songs and he kept the party on track by being a MC as well as DJing. High School Reunion



I’ve booked three shows with Meglados and have been super impressed with his performance each time. I was also impressed by the way he views his shows from the promotor's perspective in addition to the performer's. He wants each show that he plays to be successful for everyone involved. With cross-genre sets, Meglados can keep a dance floor moving and incorporate requests seamlessly. He performs with passion and gives his all to put on a good show. As a member for the African-Caribbean Club I help put on our cultural heritage dinner, one of our biggest events of the year which seats over 300 people. Following the dinner, we have our after party which is one of the most anticipated parts of the event. I had previously seen Meglados perform at a birthday party where he played hip-hop and top 40's music. At our event, Meglados did an amazing job with his music variety and mixing. He came in professional, but still engaged and vibed with the crowd which was something I enjoyed. Meglados Music is definitely worth hiring for any events or parties you might have.
